Just for comparison I bought my 59 Cadillac Imperial Sedan (Limo) off of a consignment lot right here in Fairbanks, Alaska for $5,500.00 about 3 years ago. That's an order to two orders of magnitude more than all my other pro-cars cost ($15 to $300). It runs just fine, needs a paint job but zero body work, some minor mechanical and a wee bit of interior work. All in all a wonderful project car.
