1961 Cadillac Superior, Crown Royale 3-way. Custom dual exhaust, custom horns, completely hidden sound system.

My interests include working in movie special effects and make-up. When I mentioned that I was thinking of buying a hearse Guy Thorpe encouraged me by showing me his Superior Coach book. I pointed to a 1961 Crown Royale 3-way. He said it would be hard to find. Eight days later I bought my coach from club members Jim and Eric Hoeffken. About the time I was going to have it painted we were involved in an accident. The insurance company deemed it a total loss. I took the payoff and bought the title back as a "scrap vehicle". I repaired the car myself, and with a few exceptions it is fully restored. "Risen from the grave" so to speak.
