1986 Miller-Meteor Endloader Cadillac DeVille
I bought this car I lovingly named Elizabeth, while living in and attending mortuary college in Pittsburgh, Pa. for $1000.oo from a transportation company. She was parked alongside a small, roadside truck stop with a "For Sale" sign in the windshield. With only 51,000 original miles and no rust on her underside nor her wheelwells (which isn't bad for a back east car that's 15 years old!), it was love at first sight and I knew I had to have her. She was my daily driver, was reliable and even when injured got me home safely. The pothole filled roads of Pittsburgh destroyed her suspension and despite once telling a friend, "I'd rather cut off my own head then sell my baby!" when I decided to move back home to Los Angeles, Ca. I knew in her current condition she'd never make it. So I regretfully had to sell her to help finance the trip. She is greatly missed and though I am looking for another hearse, none could ever replace the love and affection I still hold for Elizabeth.
I am currently looking for a 1961 Cadillac Miller/Meteor 3-way Limosine Style Coach in restorable condition. If you know of one, please email me! (Note: Will consider a '62)
